Marmora Crash Downs Wires

MARMORA – Marmora Volunteer Fire Company and Upper Township Division of EMS responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on South Old Tuckahoe Road at Burning Tree Road around 3:20 p.m. April 3.  
According to a post on Marmora Volunteer Fire Company’s Facebook page, firefighters arrived to find a car had struck a utility pole bringing electric wires and a transformer down onto the road and car.
Utilities had to be secured before the vehicle’s lone occupant could be removed. No word on injuries.
Traffic had to be directed around the scene for about an hour. 
New Jersey State Police are conducting an investigation.
