Marine Accident Injures Washington Twp. Woman

OCEAN CITY — Two personal watercraft collided off the coast here in late afternoon of July 4; one victim was seriously injured.
According to Sgt. Stephen Jones, Allison Lang, 43, of Washington Township was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Trauma Division by South Star Medevac with a back injury.
South Star flight medics reported the victim to be confused and combative when they radioed the hospital with an inbound report.
The operator of the second watercraft refused care on scene, according to Jones.
The accident is under investigation by State Police Marine Services Division at Station Atlantic City.
No further patient information was available.
