Man Injured Saturday Night in Fall From Sea Isle City Building

SEA ISLE CITY– Joseph M. Corter, 33, of Easton, Pa., was injured Saturday night when he fell from a building at 27 JFK Blvd.
Police said Corter fell backward from a ledge around a roof area where he was sitting, landing on concrete from a height of about 14 feet.
EMT’s with Sea Isle City Ambulance responded to the scene and requested a MedEvac helicopter however the aircraft aborted the flight en route to the scene due to deteriorating weather conditions.
Corter was transported to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by ambulance. Police said he was conscious when the ambulance took him from the scene.
