CAPE MAY– The Coast Guard recovered a 51-year-old man identified as Maurice Warren of Milford, Del, of a 36-foot boat nine miles off the coast of Cape May Saturday.
The Coast Guard received a call at 8:41 a.m. from a crewmember aboard the Fish Hawk reporting Warren, a passenger hit his head and was unconscious.
A 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May arrived on scene and assumed performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Warren.
Warren was transported back to the station where he was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel who pronounced him dead on arrival.
