BASS RIVER TOWNSHIP– Lauren McHugh, 24, of Lower Township was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash that occurred on Route 9 at mile post 58.5.
The Atlantic City Press reports on Fri. Sept, 9, Shortly after 8:30 a.m., a vehicle being driven by Andrew Hubbard, 30, of Philadelphia, was traveling southbound on Route 9 at milepost 58.5 when it crossed over into the northbound lane, struck a sign and some bushes before hitting a tree on its passenger side.
Hubbard was airlifted to the Regional Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, for treatment of undisclosed injuries, the report said. Passenger Lauren McHugh, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.
