ERMA – Between Friday June 4 and Sunday June 6, Lower Township patrol officers responded to
multiple car crashes throughout the township to including:
Friday June 4 – 1:15 p.m.: three car motor vehicle accident Seashore and Townbank roads with
injuries. Lower Township Rescue Squad responded. Summons issued for careless driving.
Friday June 4 – 4:20p.m.: two car motor vehicle accident Seashore and Ferry roads with
injuries. Lower Township Rescue Squad responded. Summons issued for careless driving.
Friday June 4 – 10:30 p.m.: 2 car motor vehicle accident on George Redding Bridge, no injuries
reported.
Saturday June 5 – 6:50 a.m.: motorcycle verses car, Fulling Mill and Bayshore roads with
reported injuries, Lower Township Rescue Squad responded. Summons issued for failure to
yield right of way at an intersection.
Saturday June 5–12:30 p.m.: 2 car motor vehicle accident 600 block of Seashore Road, no
injuries reported. Summons issued for careless driving.
Saturday June 5 – 3:40 p.m.: 2 car motor vehicle accident on the George Redding Bridge no
injuries reported. Summons issued for careless driving.
Saturday June 5 – 7:50pm: 2 car motor vehicle accident Schellingers Landing Road in the
area of the Lobster House Restaurant. No injuries reported.
Sunday June 6 – 10:40 a.m.: 2 car motor vehicle accident Route 109 and the jug handle, no
injuries reported. Summons issued for careless driving and failure to make repairs.
Sunday June 6 – 1:40 p.m.: 2 car motor vehicle accident parking lot of the Bayview Inn
Restaurant in the Diamond Beach section of the township, no injuries reported. Summons
issued for careless driving.
In addition Lower Township Patrol Officers conducted 80 motor vehicle stops while issuing a
total of 44 motor vehicle summons over the weekend.
