Infant Falls from Ocean City Boardwalk

OCEAN CITY — An identified female infant escaped serious injury Aug. 8 after falling approximately five feet off the Boardwalk area here on Sixth Street in front of Gillian’s Wonderland.  
The Ocean City Fire Department responded to the scene and requested a medevac to fly. That medevac was later canceled when Medic 8 arrived on scene and determined the infant’s injuries were not life threatening.
The infant was transported by Ocean City Fire Dept and Medic 8.to Shore Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.
