High-Power Transmission Line Leans

RIO GRANDE — Atlantic City Electric repair crews were dispatched to Maryland Avenue here shortly before noon Tuesday, Sept. 23 when a pole, holding transmission lines into Wildwood, leaned precariously.
Rio Grande volunteer firefighters were dispatched to the scene as a precaution as utility repairmen worked to fix the pole.
As of noon, power was uninterrupted.
