Head-on Crash Injures Two on Bayberry Drive

COURT HOUSE — Two persons were injured Friday, Dec. 12 in a head-on crash on Bayberry Drive that happened at 11:24 a.m.
According to a Middle Township Police report, units responded to a head-on motor collision involving two vehicles.
A vehicle driven by John Harkins Sr., of North Wildwood, was traveling north on Bayberry Drive when another vehicle, which was traveling south, crossed over the centerline and into the northbound lane resulting in a collision.
Sandra Platt, also of North Wildwood, drove the other vehicle.
There were no other passengers in either of the vehicles.
Members of the Court House Fire department responded to the scene along with members of both the Middle Township Ambulance Corps and Rio Grande Rescue Squad.
Both drivers were taken to the Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Patrolman Robert McHale investigated the crash.
