TUCKAHOE – A Tuckahoe woman was killed after being thrown from a golf cart which she was riding in as a passenger, according to NBC 40.
The accident occurred after midnight Aug. 13 near the parking lot of the Sun National Bank on Route 50 in Tuckahoe.
State Police told NBC 40 Racheal Chatten, 27, of Tuckahoe, was thrown from the cart when it struck a curb and overturned.
Chatten was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
Martha Chatten, the driver of the cart, has been charged with driving under the influence.
The accident is currently under investigation by State Police.
