RIO GRANDE – Middle Township police and rescue units responded to the former Stop N Shop store in the Grande Center about 11:05 a.m. March 11 for the report of a fork lift accident.
Medic 9 responded as did a state medical helicopter to airlift the victim to a trauma center.
Rio Grande Fire Department was called at 11:18 a.m. for the helicopter’s landing zone at the local baseball field on Route 47.
