Entrapped Man Rescued from Motor Vehicle

CAPE MAY – Cape May Fire Department was notified of a motor vehicle accident with a report of entrapment on the 1300 block of Washington St. Sept.14 at 1:18 a.m.
Units from Cape May Fire Department and United States Coast Guard Fire Department were requested to respond. First to arrive units found a vehicle lying on its side with one occupant still inside. The vehicle was stabilized and the victim was removed by CMFD personnel. The victim was transported by Cape May Fire to Cape Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Fire units remained on scene for clean up until the vehicle was removed, all units cleared at 2:40 a.m. No other vehicles were involved and the accident is under investigation by Cape May Police Department.
