VILLAS – Lower Township Police Department was notified of a motor vehicle crash that had just occurred at the intersection of Bayshore and Fulling Mill Roads in Villas April 6, at approximately 9:41 p.m. A multi-agency response was activated, with assistance from Villas Fire Department and Lower Township Rescue Squad.
Upon arrival to the crash scene, Lower Township police made contact with one vehicle. A black Jeep Wrangler was observed in the southbound lane of the roadway, with heavy front-end damage and the driver still inside.
The driver, later identified as Tatyana Hamaneyeva, 38, of Villas, was able to remove herself from the vehicle and was escorted out of the roadway by officers. She was then evaluated by rescue personnel and ultimately declined to be transported to the hospital for further assessment.

Hamaneyeva was issued four motor vehicle summonses as a result of the crash for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit breath samples, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
The crash was investigated by Patrolmen Anthony Micciche and Kenneth Walker, with assistance from Patrolmen Eric Coombs and Louis Bartleson.
The individual(s) listed is/are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
