Driver Seriously Injured in Collision With Tree in South Seaville

SOUTH SEAVILLE– One person was seriously injured Saturday night after colliding with a tree here on Main Street.
The Ocean View Fire Department responded to the scene to extricate the driver who was trapped in the car.
Belleplain Emergency Corps requested a medevac helicopter to respond. The unidentified driver was transported to Franklin Savings Bank in Ocean View where they were transfered to Medevac 5.
The driver was airlifted to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
The crash is under investigation by state police at the Woodbine station.
