SWAINTON– A medical problem is being blamed for a single vehicle crash here on Avalon Boulevard Friday afternoon.
Police on scene said the driver passed out while traveling west on Avalon Boulevard then crossed into the eastbound lane before driving approximately 100 feet into the marsh.
The crash caused heavy traffic delays while crews from Court House Towing used a heavy duty wrecker to pull the vehicle out of the marsh.
The unidentified female was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Middle Township EMS and AtlantiCare paramedics for evaluation.
