Dennis Collision Injures One

DENNISVILLE – Troopers from State Police Woodbine Station responded to a motor vehicle crash June 28 around 10 a.m. on SH 47 southbound at milepost 17.50. 
The investigation revealed that a 1995 Ford Explorer operated by a 51-year-old male was traveling south on SH 47. The driver failed to maintain his lane and the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane of travel in front of a tractor trailer traveling north on SH 47.
The driver of the Ford Explorer had moderate injuries to his legs and the driver of the tractor trailer had no injuries.
Assisting with this crash was Dennis Volunteer Fire Company and Belleplain Rescue Squad. This motor vehicle crash is under investigation.
