Cyclist Injured in Car Crash

SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at 50th Street and Landis Avenue July 1 around 8 a.m., involving a pedacyclist and a motor vehicle.

The driver of the motor vehicle had stopped and remained at the scene until police arrived. The driver of the motor vehicle is cooperating with investigators, as they continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.

Sea Isle Ambulance Corps transported the injured pedacyclist to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division for treatment. There were no other injuries to report, as a result of this accident.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, and more information will be released when reports are completed and a final cause has been determined.
