VILLAS – Villas Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched for a motor vehicle crash with a vehicle on fire on Bayshore Road around 7 p.m. April 9.
Upon arrival, it was found that a motorcycle had rear ended a vehicle and both vehicles were on fire, according to a post on Villas Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page.
All occupants were safely out and away from the vehicles.
Cape May County Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Weapons (CBRNE) was notified due to a ruptured gas tank on one vehicle. Lower Township Public Works assisted with cleaning up the roadway once the vehicles were removed.
