MAURICE RIVER — A Villas resident, Michael Hankins, 20, died as a result of injuries sustained July 25 as he was driving south on Route 47 about 9:50 p.m. His vehicle went out of control and crashed into a utility pole. Hankins was transported to Inspira Medical Center, Vineland where he later died. His female passenger, Aimee Govoni, 19, also of Villas, was injured.
