Crash Claims Life of 65-Year-Old

ELDORA – Troopers from New Jersey State Police Woodbine Station responded to a one-car motor vehicle crash on SH 347 northbound at milepost .6 in Eldora Jan. 9 at 1:49 p.m.

The investigation revealed that a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu being driven by Donna M. Nabozny, 65, of Pennsylvania was traveling north on SH 347. Nabozny failed to maintain her lane of travel and the Chevrolet Malibu subsequently ran off of the road toward the right shoulder and struck a tree located along the same.

Nabozny was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

New Jersey State Police Fatal Accident Unit and New Jersey State Police Crime Scene Investigations South Unit responded to the scene in order to assist with the investigation. Also assisting with the crash was Belleplain Fire Department, Belleplain Rescue Squad, and Dennis Township Fire Department.

This motor vehicle crash is still under investigation.
