Crash Causes Power Outage In Marmora

MARMORA– A single-vehicle accident on Tuckahoe Road disrupted power to an estimated 212 customers, according to Atlantic City Electric.
The driver identified as William Dameshek, 47, lost control of the sport-utility-vehicle he was driving and struck a utility pole causing the outage which occurred at 3:44 a.m., on Sunday, Feb. 28.
Police said Dameshek fell asleep at the wheel.
The Marmora Fire Department and Upper Township Rescue Squad responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
The accident is under investigation by troopers at the Woodbine station.
