GALLOWAY– Markal A. Ginyard, 23 of Cape May Court House was killed Sunday morning in a single vehicle crash on Route 30.
According to police, a 2008 Pontiac 06 driven by Davon Edwards of Glassboro was traveling west on Route 30 when it crossed the center line of the roadway and struck a tree in the eastbound shoulder.
Edwards had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Pomona Vol. Fire Dept and was airlifted to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic CIty by South Star fo multiple fractures and internal injuries.
Both front airbags were deployed and neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, police said.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. No surnmones have been issued at this time.
