Court House Man Dies in Crash

SOUTH SEAVILLE – A Court House man died in a one-car crash on Route 628, Dennisville Road, in South Seaville at 9:28 p.m. Oct. 13.
Lt. Ted Schafer said Geoffrey Chew-Perez, 25, was traveling southbound in his 1998 Audi when he crossed the center line and ran off the road to the left, striking a utility pole and several trees, causing fatal injuries.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
The road and weather conditions were wet and cloudy, according to Schafer.
Route 628 at Gracetown and Tattlers roads was closed for three hours and 23 minutes while state police investigated. 
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
