Charter Bus Hits Wires, Route 50 Shut Down

SEAVILLE—A Lion Trailways charter bus struck power cables here on Route 50 and Truk Terrace around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, causing a section of Route 50 to be closed.
The Seaville Fire Department and Upper Township Rescue Squad were dispatched to the scene.
According to reports the bus did not have passengers and the driver was not injured.
One customer experienced service interruption due to the accident according to Atlantic City Electric spokesman Arthur Garcia.
The accident is under investigation by Troopers at the Woodbine Station.
