CG Medevacs Ill Man from Sea

CAPE MAY — The Coast Guard did a helicopter medical evacuation of a 54-year-old man Tuesday, Sept. 30 some 85 miles off the coast here.
The Coast Guard received a call at 2:15 a.m. from a passenger aboard the Atlantic Star reporting a crewmember was experiencing chest pains and needed medical attention.
A rescue crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City arrived on scene and transported the man to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland campus for treatment.
