Candlelight Vigil Held One Year After Death of Cousins

By Sean Streicher

WILDWOOD – Family and friends of 15-year-old Nioami Lazicki and 13-year-old Ashley Dauber, the cousins who were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver while walking on Bayshore Road in Green Creek, gathered on the Spicer Avenue beach for a candlelight vigil.
The vigil, which was planned by Lazicki’s friend Brianna Previta, was held in memory of the girls, and to show continued support for the family and friends they left behind. Attendees shared tears and laughs as they told stories about the girls, and sang songs in their remembrance. Family members would like to thank Previta for planning the beautiful ceremony.
