Bicyclist Struck By Car In Wildwood

WILDWOOD – Engine Company 38 and Ambulance 390 responded to Taylor and Pacific avenues July 27 at 1:19 p.m. for a pedestrian versus motor vehicle accident. 
The victim was traveling on a bicycle when she was struck. The impact of the collision caused considerable damage to the vehicle’s body and windshield.
Because of the mechanism of injury firefighters requested a medivac helicopter.  Due to weather the helicopter was grounded.
The victim was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center in Court House. Her injuries are unknown at this time.
