Benefit Scheduled for Lady Mary Families

WEST CAPE MAY – A benefit has been scheduled to benefit the children of the six men who lost their lives in the sinking of the commercial fishing boat, the Lady Mary, 65 miles offshore on March 24.
The event will be held Sept. 27 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at West Cape May Fire Hall. Raffles and silent auctions will be held for local restaurant gift certificates, tickets to the Jimmy Fallon Show in New York City, golf and fishing packages, overnight stays at Borgata and Trump Taj Mahal, an electric guitar autographed by Al DiMeola, an autographed acoustic guitar and other items from Jon Bon Jovi, autographed sports memorabilia and jewelry, clothing and handbags.
Other items for auction or raffle include tickets to Cape May Stage, Cape May Jazz Festival, Morey’s Water Park. hair and beauty supply baskets and gift certificates. All of the items have been donated.
Live music will be provided by Candice M. Burgin and Joey DeNoble. The benefit will also feature food, beer and door prizes.
Ticket are $20 per person and available at the office of the Lobster House and at the door.
