Autopsy Shows That Man Pulled from Harbor Drowned

State Police announced today a local man died accidentally Monday night when he fell from a floating dock at the Harbor View Marinna .
An autopsy conducted at Shore Memorial hospital in Somers Point on Tuesday, May 19 determined Robert Schumann, 76 of Lower Township had drowned.
Schumann went missing on Monday, May 17, after he walked down a floating dock at the Harbor View Marina to discard fish guts, State Police spokesman Sgt. Julian Castellanos said.
Lower Township police called the Town Bank dive team to the scene after they were unable to locate the man. Schumanns’s body was found near slip 13, Castellanos said.
Castellanos said Schumann was pronounced dead at 12:13 a.m. by paramedics.
