OCEAN VIEW — An accident on the Garden State Parkway closed traffic for a short time Mon., Dec. 12 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
According to police, the driver of one vehicle merged into southbound traffic after stopping at the Ocean View service area and was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on the Parkway.
A 12-year-old girl sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
