$200 Fine Issued to Court House Man in Fatal Pedestrain Accident

OCEAN CITY – The driver of a van that struck and killed Casey Feldman, 21, of Springfield, Pa., pled guilty to careless driving on Thursday, March 15.
The driver, Anthony Lomonaco, 59, of Cape May Court House, paid a $200 fine plus $33 in court costs in Ocean City Municipal Court. The charge of failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk was dropped, according to The Press of Atlantic City.
The Herald was first to break the story on July 17, 2009 when Lomonaco came to a full stop at the corner of Central Avenue and 14th Street, but did not see Feldman.
Feldman died of her injuries hours later at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
