This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle crash on Stagecoach Road in Court House June 3 at 12:29 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a white Nissan Altima had run off the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle, both females and age 16, had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Court House Fire Department. Both teenagers were flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was charged with underage DWI (driving while intoxicated), numerous traffic violations and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Middle Township EMS assisted on scene. Patrolman Mark Bakley investigated.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
