10 Year-Old Airlifted After Suffering Neck Injury in Cape May

CAPE MAY CITY– A 10 year-old boy was injured while Boogie Boarding off of the Madison Ave beach Monday afternoon.
Deputy Fire Chief Richard Lundholm said a MedEvac helicopter was requested to airlift the boy who was complaining of neck pain.
Firefighters transported the child to the Lafayette Street school where he was airlifted to AtlaniCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by MedEvac 5.
This was the second MedEvac flight requested in 24 hours for a person injured on a Boogie Board.
