MIDDLE TOWNSHIP – A Swainton man died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway May 5.
According to Trooper Alejandro Goez, New Jersey State Police, the crash, near Milepost 10.6, was reported at 11:08 a.m. Goez said the driver of a Chrysler 200, Thomas Rambo, 42, lost control of the vehicle after attempting to merge into the right lane. The vehicle veered to the left and struck the median’s guardrail.
Rambo sustained fatal injuries. There were other occupants in the vehicle, two boys, ages 10 and 12. The 10-year-old boy sustained serious injuries, and the 12-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries.
