New Democratic Leader Appointed in Lower Township

Harvey Roach, new leader of the Lower Township Democratic Committee

From Lower Township Democratic Committee

LOWER TOWNSHIP – Following the untimely demise of Debi de la Cretaz, the Lower Township Democratic Committee met on October 14th to choose a new Democratic Leader. Former township commissioner, Harvey Roach was unanimously confirmed for this role.

State Law establishes Democratic and Republican committees for each municipality. Every member of the County Committees (elected in presidential years) in each town is a member of the committee in the town they represent.

Mr. Roach said, “Debi de la Cretaz took many steps to improve government in the Township and the County. I hope to continue those efforts and to show the Citizens of the Township the value that a Democratic Council could create for them.”

Kit Marlowe will continue to serve as Deputy Democratic Leader
