Morey’s Piers Receives Industry Accolades Across Multiple Categories

Morey’s Piers is proud to announce its recent award-winning efforts across various segments of their operation.

Continuing its legacy of exemplary standards, Morey’s Piers’ Ride Operations Team clinched the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) Audit Excellence Award at the yearly “Ride Camp” Safety School, organized by the safety consulting firm, International Ride Training (IRT). This accolade reaffirms Morey’s unwavering commitment to guest safety and service excellence, positioning the park among the select few to receive this honor nationally.

“Words cannot describe how proud we are to be recognized once again for our industry-leading training programs and commitment to Guest and Associate safety,” said Dino Fazio, Director of Pier Operations at Morey’s Piers.

Further affirming Morey’s commitment to safety and excellence, the water park team distinguished themselves at the Jeff Ellis & Associates (E&A) 38th Annual Ron Rhinehart International Aquatic Safety School in Phoenix, Arizona. Polly Pollock and John Famiano were celebrated for their

outstanding leadership, with Pollock receiving the Spirit Award for her dedication to fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Famiano was honored with the Vera Solis Leadership Award, recognizing his embodiment of service, leadership, and accountability.

At the prestigious International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Honors held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Morey’s Piers received a coveted Brass Ring Award. This esteemed recognition was given to the Marketing and Human Resources Team for their exceptional creativity in the “Our Jobs are the Splat” Campaign, developed in collaboration with creative partners at 1 Trick Pony. The Brass Ring Award, named in homage to the historic carousel rings, symbolizes achievement, innovation, and the pioneering spirit of the industry.

In addition, Morey’s Piers was also named a finalist in multiple categories, including Best Midway Games Display, Best Digital Marketing Campaign, and Best New Food & Beverage Facility Build.
