McILWAIN, CYNTHIA
Cynthia McIlwain “Hackett” age 57 of North Cape May passed away on February 24, 2025 while vacationing in Florida. She was born in Philadelphia and had resided in the Cape May area for the past 32 years. She graduated from St. Rita's of Cascia Career Center in Philadelphia, PA. Cindy had worked as a Bookkeeper-Secretary at Sea Star III Deep Sea Fishing in Cape May. She enjoyed spending time with her children, time on the beach, fishing, going to Disney World and spending time in the Florida Keys.
She is survived by her life partner Charles Hackett; son Christohpher Hackett; father George McIlwain; siblings George McIlwain and Susan Gerace; nephews Matthew McIlwain and Frank Gerace. Cindy was preceded in death by her children Charles and Chelsea Hackett and her mother Dorothy McIlwain.
A memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday April 12, 2025 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May where relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 am.
