MARCY, GEORGE ALBERT III George Albert Marcy III, age 79 of Villas passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He was born and raised in Taunton, MA and had been an area resident for the last 53 years. In his early years, he was a commercial fisherman by trade and had owned a scallop boat for many years. He had also worked as a concession operations manager at the Cape May Co. Zoo. George loved cats, metal scrapping and was an avid poker player. George is survived by two daughters Kathleen Marcy (Jose Santiago) and Jean Marcy (John Watkins); five grandchildren, Heather Frye, Ashley Frye, Kevin Alfano, Alyssa Rupinski and Victoria Rupinski; three great-grandchildren, Deegan Melnick, Vander Melnick and Declan Frye, and his ex-wife Jean Marie Marcy (nee Bertolina). George was preceded in death by his parents George and Marie (nee Corvello) Marcy and step-mother Louise Maslanka Marcy; siblings Joseph and Donald Marcy and Diane.
