LOPOMO, LISA (FIORENTINO)

LOPOMO, LISA (FIORENTINO) Lisa Lopomo, 63, with great sadness passed away on August 2, 2023 at her home with loved ones by her side after a long, fierce and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born June 26, 1960 in Elizabeth, NJ she was raised and resided in North Jersey. She came to live in South Jersey in 2018, finding joy in Cape May County and happily calling Cape May Court House her forever home. Prior to her move south from Verona, NJ, Lisa worked at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and since 2018 has worked at Cape Regional Physicians Associates, where she enjoyed her new friendships. Whether it was her "famous" meatloaf or her "perfectly pounded" cutlets, Lisa shared her love through food. Delightfully, she looked forward to the Sunday dinner gatherings, sitting for hours enjoying the company of family. Lisa was an avid crocheter and took great joy and pride in her craft. You were lucky to be gifted one of her beautiful, hand-made inspirations, which we will all now cherish. Lisa's greatest joy was being the loving "Nonna" to her adoring grandchildren Gabriella, Joey and Jacquelyn, and the doting and loving Aunt to Sophia. Lisa is predeceased by her father, Peter D. Fiorentino, brother Nicholas, sisters Lucille and Jacqueline. She is survived by her loving mother, Armena Faris, her son, Christopher and wife Melissa, her daughter, Alyssa, and her three grandchildren. Lisa is also survived by her siblings Elaine, Peter, Janine and husband Tom, Jason and wife Patricia, and the many adoring nieces and nephewsall of whom she loved so much and touched deeply. Lisa will be missed terribly by her family and by all those who knew her well. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Cape Regional Medical Center and Angelic Hospice for their kindness and compassion; and we are grateful to the many dear friends and neighbors for their prayers and support. A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial contributions in her name may be made to: Cape Regional Foundation, Beacon Wall.
