In Friday night boys basketball action, Lower Cape May hosted Oakcrest and won, 48-30. Zach Cerasi and Pat Holden led the Caper Tigers with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Freshman Martin Anguelov added 12 points for the hosts.
Ocean City defeated Absegami at home, 66-45. Tom Jamison led with 12 points for the Red Raiders with teammates Luke Varallo and Donovan Graham each chipping 11 points.
In girls basketball action from Friday night, Lower Cape May edged Oakcrest on the road, 39-37. Olivia Levin led all scorers with 20 points for the visiting Lady Tigers.
The Ocean City girls won on the road at Absegami, 47-34. Danielle Donoghue led the Red Raiders and the game with 16 points.
On Saturday, the Cape May Tech boys won big, 67-49, at home against Pennsville. Josh Wright led the game with 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Hawks.
The Middle Township boys earned a close 44-43 win over Holy Spirit. Jalen Freeman led the Panthers with 15 points and Coley Holton added 11 points.
The Wildwood Catholic boys won against William Penn, Del., 64-48. Caleb Fields scored 33 points for the Crusaders.
In Monday action, the Cape May Tech girls won, 46-32, at home against St. Joseph. Emily Pasceri had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Hawks with Liza Pellini adding 16 points.
Wildwood Catholic dominated Pleasantville, 59-13, at home. Marianna Papazoglou had a triple-double for the Lady Crusaders in the win with Lauren McCallion in double figures.
The Ocean City boys won their ninth straight game against Cumberland Regional, 57-47. Luke Varallo and Tom Jamison scored 15 and 14 points, respectively.
The Middle Township boys won, 75-46, at home over Buena Regional. Coley Holton led the Panthers with 26 points.
