Wildwoods Convention Center Hosts Wrestling Tournament

THE WILDWOODS – The South Jersey Wrestling Association will host the Youth Wrestling Duals in the Wildwoods Convention Center Sat., Dec. 15 and Sun., Dec. 16.
The two-day youth wrestling tournament will feature a High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Open Wrestling Tournament on Sat. from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and a Wrecker Duals Tournament for recreation teams from Kindergarten through 8th grade on Sun. from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ticket prices per day are as follows: $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under and $7 for senior citizens. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
The South Jersey Wrestling Association’s mission is to create a competitive atmosphere for youth wrestlers that promotes sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and fair play. This purpose is met by providing supervised and competitive wrestling competitions in order to encourage continued participation in the sport of amateur wrestling.
The South Jersey Wrestling Association will return to the Wildwoods Convention Center on Fri., Feb. 8 – Sun., Feb. 10, 2013 for the U.S. Amateur Wrestling Middle School National Challenge Duals.
