NORTH WILDWOOD – The North Wildwood 7-on-7 Flag Football League Championship was played Jan. 9 at the 8th Street Field here between Wells Fargo and Dogtooth Bar and Grill.
Dogtooth scored on the opening drive, but Wells Fargo answered with a touchdown of their own and never looked back as they dominated the rest of the game on their way to a 33-20 victory.
Dogtooth is a perennial contender year after year. Wells Fargo is a fairly new team to the league. Now with a championship victory under their belt, they are looking forward to next season looking to defend their title.
