OCEAN CITY — The 15th annual Trail of Two Cities run or walk over the Ninth Street Causeway is set for Sat., Nov. 6 starting 8 a.m. The course begins at the Ocean City Transportation Center, 10th and Haven Avenue and ends in Kennedy Park, Somers Point.
Runners and Walkers will enjoy a scenic romp over the Ninth Street bridges adjacent to the new bridge construction that has been underway for three years. The road will be closed to vehicles from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Runners will compete in various age groups from nine years to 70 and over, male and female, with medals to the top three finishers in each group. There will be special awards to the male and female with the best over-all times.
Walkers will participate for the opportunity to take in the sights, snap photos and enjoy a relaxed workout. No pets, skateboards, bikes or roller blades will be allowed because of insurance restrictions.
Pre-registration is $20 if received by October 20 and $25 the day of the race. Immediate families of up to four may register for a discounted price of $60. Separate registration forms are required for each family participant. Families must pre-register and all forms must be mailed together.
Same day registration starts 7 a.m. at the Ocean City Transportation Center, 10th and Haven Ave. Packet pick-up and late entry will also be conducted at the Transportation Center.
Buses will be available at the finish line at JFK Park in Somers Point to transport runners to the start before the race from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Buses will also transport runners back to Ocean City at the conclusion of the race.
The finish and awards ceremony will be held at JFK Park after all participants have completed the course.
T Shirts will be given to the first 400 pre-registrants or while the supply lasts. There will be refreshments. The event raises funds for Ocean City and Somers Point recreation programs.

All forms with check made payable to Foundation for Education, Somers Point, must be mailed to L&M Computer Sports, 89 Park Drive, Berlin, N.J. 08009 by Oct. 20.
