Spring Motorcycle Rally Is Switching Things Up

WILDWOOD — The Wildwood Spring Rally has moved the dates of the 3-day Rally to Fri., May 13 – Sun., May 15. This rally, that is used to kick off the Motorcycle Rally season, is also offering some new activities, vendors and sponsors to make this year’s event something to help you get ready to ride.
As always, the vendors will be located in the lots at the corner of Oak and Atlantic avenues and on Oak Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific. Vendor locations will be open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily and will be full of favorite clothing, leather, jewelry, part installations and so much more.
Also, attending the Rally this year will be Atlantic County Harley Davidson to outfit you in the newest HD gear or get you to ride home on a new motorcycle.
The Ride the Wave Motorcycle Run will make it’s way down to the Rally Sat., May 14. This charity Run will start on the Camden waterfront at 10 a.m. and end at the Wildwood Spring Rally to benefit the Camden, Gloucester and Burlington Counties Hero Scholarship Funds.
The money raised will go to help the families of fallen police, firefighter and EMS workers.
Following the Run, a Walking Poker Run starting at The Deck, on the corner of Oak and Pacific Avenues, at 2 p.m. to benefit the Beacon Animal Rescue out of Ocean View. Entry to the Poker Run is $5 per person, which goes directly to the Animal Rescue, additional donations of food or other pet supplies will also be accepted at the registration table. The winning hand of Poker at the end of the contest will win $250.
If you’re looking for something new to do when the sun goes down on Saturday, the Wildwood Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Sensational ‘60s Concert at the Wildwoods Convention Center. The concert will star The Spinners, Righteous Brothers’ Bill Medley and The Contours featuring Sylvester Potts. Tickets start at just $49.50 and can be purchased in advance at Ticketmaster.com, any Ticketmaster location, or at the door of the Convention Center the night of the concert.
