Parrot Heads to Hold ‘Phall Phlocking’ Oct. 16

SEAVILLE — Join members of the Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club of Atlantic and Cape May Counties for the club’s annual “Phall Phlocking” party, Sat., Oct. 16, from 6 to 11 p.m. The festive, “island style” event will take place at the Seaville Fire Hall, located at 36 Route 50.
Live entertainment will be provided by trop-rock musician John, of the Mango Men, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., followed by DJ Eddie B, who will rock the house ‘til closing with all of the favorite Buffett tunes.
In the club’s tradition of “partying with a purpose,” all proceeds from the Phall Phlocking will go to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, in Brigantine,
The $20 admission includes a beef and beer buffet, door prizes, contests and giveaways and may be paid at the door. The club is also hosting the first annual “Chili Cook-off Challenge” that night. All participants are invited to enter the contest.
The JSPH Club welcomes the public to the Phall Phlocking, however, children may attend only from 6 to 8 p.m. New members are invited to join the club for a reduced $10 per person membership fee during the event.
The Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club brings together people with similar interests in the music and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffet and organizes a number of charitable fundraisers, community service events and fun social gatherings throughout the year.
The club has donated over $60,000 to local charities since its founding in 2000.
