WILDWOOD- On Saturday, August 17, more than 1,300 athletes tested their resilience by participating in the 10th Anniversary Tri The Wildwoods.
The main event at this Jersey Shore Classic consisted of three separate races taking place simultaneously: The Sprint Triathlon, a .25 mile swim, 10 mile bike, and 5K run for adults; a 200M Swim and 2000 Meter Run for 11-15 years and older; and a 100M Swim and 1000 meter run for 7-10 years.
Last year’s Wild Child Splash & Dash was so popular that race organizer and Wildwood resident, Stephen Del Monte of DelMoSports, brought it back this year.
