OCEAN CITY – The third and final contest of the Ocean City Surfing Association’s 2018 surf contest series for surfers 14 & under was held Aug. 6 at Seventh Street.
According to a release, points were accumulated over three Monday evening contests, with custom trophies awarded to the top six finalists in each division at the conclusion of the events.
Fifty boys and girls turned out for the free surfing series this summer, which was sponsored by the Ocean City Recreation Department. Special thanks to Heritage Surf & Sport and the Eastern Surfing Association for running the events.
Thanks also to the Ocean City Beach Patrol and School-Based Youth Services/LCMR for their assistance.
