The Ocean City and Wildwood Catholic High School boys’ soccer teams won their respective Cape-Atlantic League divisions in action on Wednesday and Thursday.
Ocean City clinched the C.A.L. National title on Oct. 18 with a 6-2 win at Cedar Creek. Luke Varallo led the team with two goals in the win.
The Red Raiders are 8-1 in the conference and 13-1-1 overall as of Oct. 22. Other schools in the conference are Middle Township, Oakcrest, Absegami, Cedar Creek and Lower Cape May.
Wildwood Catholic earned their second straight C.A.L. United title in Oct. 19’s 4-2 win at Pleasantville. Tyler Mericle, Jared Wallace, Taylor Ohntrup and Beck Lindsay each scored to secure the victory.
The Crusaders are undefeated in the conference at 10-0 and are 12-3 overall as of Oct. 22. Pleasantville, Buena Regional, St. Joseph, Holy Spirit and Cape May Tech are also members of the United Division.
