Middle Twp. Tennis Wins Tournament & More Results

The Middle Township High School girls tennis team won the annual Cape May Tennis Club round robin tournament on Sept. 22.

CAPE MAY – The Middle Township High School girls tennis team won the annual Cape May Tennis Club round robin tournament on Sept. 22. They competed against Lower Cape May, Wildwood Catholic and two teams from out of state for the championship title.
Other Area Wins from Sept. 19-24:
Girls Soccer
Lower Cape May won 2-1 on the road at Buena Regional on Sept. 24. Chloe Lawler netted twice for the Caper Tigers.
Wildwood won their first game, 6-1, on the road at Cape May Tech. Jenna Hans had three first half goals for the Warriors.
 
Boys Soccer
Cape May Tech edged St. Joseph on Sept. 19, 5-4. Mike Brown had two goals for the Hawks while Cain Rullo added a goal and an assist.
Lower Cape May won, 3-0, against Holy Spirit on Sept. 21. Jordan Pierce had two goals for the Caper Tigers.
Field Hockey
Middle Township won, 1-0, at Oakcrest on Sept. 21. Briar Lemma scored for the Panthers.
They won again on Sept. 24, 5-0, against Buena Regional. Caroline Gallagher had a hat trick for the Panthers.
Ocean City won, 4-0, on Sept. 24 at Absegami. Sophia Gresham had two goals and an assist for the Red Raiders.
