The Middle Township High School field hockey team, ranked No. 4 in South Jersey Group I, looks to defend their 2016 sectional title on Nov. 3 at No. 2 Schalick.

Kallie Leonik (10) started off the scoring within a minute of play, with Caroline Gallagher (18) adding two goals before the half. Leonik added another goal in the second half to secure the 4-1 victory to move on.
The Lady Panthers faced top-seeded Woodstown on Nov. 1 in the semifinals and won 3-2 in overtime. Lexi Frank scored first for the Panthers with freshman Kate Herlihy adding two, including the game-winner, to send the team to the sectional final.
Middle stands at 12-9 overall.
